Bancor

Bancor is a blockchain platform that allows users to convert different virtual currency tokens instantly, bypassing traditional exchanges like Coinbase. The Bancor Network Token (BNT) is the main token used within this network. Since joining Bancor, I've focused on creating user-friendly designs, developing new features, and collaborating closely with the team. I've played a key role in two major program releases, including the recent V3, which was a year-long project. Additionally, I've led the creation of a design system to streamline our work. This experience has deepened my understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Designing for Bancor's blockchain platform posed unique challenges, requiring a deep understanding of cryptocurrency user needs. Key challenges included ensuring seamless token conversion while upholding security standards and providing intuitive interfaces for both novice and experienced users. Balancing simplicity with advanced functionality was crucial. Addressing scalability concerns to maintain transaction speed was also vital. Designing for Bancor necessitated a constant focus on user experience, security, and technological innovation to meet cryptocurrency community demands.
